Cloud Modernisation Practice Lead

As our Cloud Modernisation Practice Lead, you’ll lead a high‑performing team delivering cloud‑native modernisation projects for Atech customers on Microsoft Azure. You’ll combine technical leadership, delivery oversight and people management to ensure projects land on time, on budget and to a high standard.

In this role, you will:

• Lead a manage the delivery of application modernisation projects
• Act as technical lead on complex, high‑priority work
• Drive Agile delivery practices and continuously improve our methodology
• Identify risks, resolve issues and keep projects on track
• Mentor and develop your engineering team
• Ensure high‑quality documentation and delivery outputs
• Work closely with Product, Architecture and cross‑functional teams to align delivery
• Build strong stakeholder relationships across the business
• Recruit, manage and support team performance
• Monitor forecasts, support revenue targets and allocate resources effectively
• Embed best practices, lead lessons‑learned sessions and champion continuous improvement
• Promote innovation and explore new technologies to enhance customer outcomes

• Bring strong software development experience with modern architecture on Microsoft Azure
• Have hands‑on expertise with App Services, AKS, Functions, Container Apps, API Management, SQL and Cosmos DB
• Have experience in IT, including 5+ years with Microsoft technologies
• Have led technical delivery on complex, high‑impact projects
• Understand Azure PaaS, application infrastructure and deployment methods
• Can design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub or Azure DevOps
• Communicate clearly and collaborate well across teams
• Proactively identify risks and create effective contingency plans
• Have strong organisational, analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Are comfortable working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
