We want to hear from you if you:

Essentials:

  • Do you bring 3–5 years of proven experience in cyber defence or security engineering, ideally within managed services or consultancy? That’s exactly what we’re after.
  • Are you confident working with the Microsoft 365 Defender suite (Endpoint, Identity, Cloud Apps, etc.)? Strong expertise here is key.
  • Hands-on with Microsoft Entra, 365, Azure, Intune, and Purview? We want to see how you’ve applied security remediation, posture hardening, and secure score improvements.
  • Do you understand Zero Trust architecture and cloud security principles — and the impact of changes you make? That’s critical for this role.
  • Can you maintain client environments to regulatory compliance policies in Microsoft 365 and Azure (ISO 27001, PCI DSS, NIST)? That’s a must.
  • Solid knowledge of Windows OS configuration, Active Directory, Group Policy, and security hardening is expected.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, plus stakeholder engagement — because security is about people as much as technology.
  • Minimum AZ-500 certification, plus at least one of SC-200, SC-300, or SC-400.

Preferable:

  • Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert (or equivalent).
  • Experience with Linux administration and security hardening.
  • Strong Microsoft Purview and information governance skills — a distinct advantage.
  • Familiarity with SIEM/SOAR platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, KQL).
  • Exposure to compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
  • Ability to write clear technical documentation and processes.
