What you'll be doing:

At Iomart, we’re building a truly great place to work — and our HR Advisor plays a key role in making that happen. Reporting to the Senior People Business Partner you’ll partner with stakeholders across the Group, providing confident, consistent HR guidance and helping shape an exceptional employee experience.

This is a hands‑on, varied role where you’ll manage your own workload, collaborate closely with the wider People & Culture team, and spot opportunities to improve how we work. You’ll also know when to escalate issues and when to take the lead, ensuring our people feel supported at every stage.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading and supporting ER matters across the Group with a fair and consistent approach
  • Overseeing monthly payroll with a focus on accuracy and “right first time” delivery
  • Coaching and mentoring the People & Culture Coordinator
  • Reviewing, updating, and harmonising HR policies and procedures
  • Supporting organisational change projects, including TUPE and restructures
  • Preparing monthly Executive Committee reporting with clear insights and recommendations
  • Contributing to the delivery of the People & Culture strategy
  • Supporting salary review and annual benefits enrolment
  • Getting hands‑on with HR processes and HRIS improvements or migrations
  • Advising leaders on policies, ER, recruitment, reward, and benefits
  • Working with the wider People and Culture team on DE&I, engagement, systems integration, training, communications, and company events

We want to hear from you if you:

  • Have proven experience in a similar role with experience in managing complex ER matters
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of current and upcoming UK employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance internally through educating leaders and keeping our policies up to date.
  • Have associate CIPD membership or working towards this
  • Have an understanding of payroll processing
  • Have excellent planning and business acumen to align HR priorities to business objectives.
  • Can demonstrate the ability to use HR metrics to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations to influence decision making and organisational effectiveness.
  • Possess experience of navigating diverse workforces and fostering inclusivity, supporting employee well-being and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Can demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively, influence stakeholders, and apply leadership, problem‑solving, and attention to detail in every aspect of the role.
