What you'll be doing:

With an ambition to build a great place to work, the People & Culture Co-Ordinator provides accurate and timely HR admin support across the Iomart Group with a focus on being bigger, better and bolder. This position partners with the wider People and Culture team to ensure excellent communication and right first-time tasks are delivered. Supporting the full employee life cycle, the role holder must have the ability to work independently, manage their own workload whilst having a strong team focus and the ability to escalate issues in a timely manner. The ability to question why and how we do things, attention to detail and time management are key to the success of this role.

 

As People & Culture Co-Ordinator, you will be the first point of contact for employee and manager queries. This role works closely with the wider People and Culture team to deliver on our priorities and to provide an excellent service to the business:

In addition you will:

 

  • Manage the HR and Payroll inboxes with the knowledge to escalate any queries to the Senior People Business Partner.
  • Support the Communications Manager with any required administrative tasks.
  • Process all administrative activities in relation to the full employment life cycle including creating and maintaining trackers.
  • Support employee relations matters including absence management, disciplinary, grievance and flexible working including issuing letters, documentation, tracking of cases and note taking.
  • Payroll administrative tasks to ensure that our colleagues are paid correctly and on time.
  • Appropriately file all relevant employee documentation.
  • Manage the annual benefits administration and enrolment period to ensure that employees are informed of their options and what impact changes will have on their monthly/annual pay.
  • Manage the HRIS to ensure that data is accurate, train users on system enhancements and new features, prepare regular reports and create dashboards showing key HR metrics and trends.
  • Identify process  improvements and implement automation or digital solutions.
  • Ensure appropriate carryover of holidays and that exceptions are only made with the sign off of the Senior People Business Partner or Chief People Officer.
  • Assist with the administration of our salary review process including preparing reports, arranging salary change letters and making system updates.
  • Arrange occupational health consultations.
  • Manage the employee onboarding and offboarding process including conducting HR inductions for employees, issuing exit surveys, arranging exit interviews and tracking feedback to provide key monthly, quarterly and annual trends to the Senior People Business Partner.
  • Work in partnership with the full HR team to deliver people priorities and projects including DE&I and engagement activities, integration of new systems, training, employee communications and events.

We want to hear from you if you:

  • Have experience in HR operations with exposure to payroll and benefits administration
  • Have an HR background with an understanding of the full employee lifecycle is essential
  • Have experience with platforms such as People Hub, Moorepay, Workday, Oracle, SuccessFactors, or similar systems
  • Are proficient in Excel; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or SQL is a plus
  • Are detail-focused, analytical, and comfortable working with sensitive employee data
  • Associate CIPD membership is desirable.
  • Have a degree in Human Resource Management or other relevant business area.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural and cross functional organisation.
