What you'll be doing:

As our Cloud Solutions Architect for Microsoft’s Data Platforms you'll play a pivotal role within the Presales function of our Managed Service Provider.

 

This role is responsible for designing and architecting robust Cloud solutions with a particular focus on Microsoft Fabric for unified data analytics and AI, Microsoft Purview for data governance and security, and services on the Microsoft Azure cloud for data storage and AI integration.  You'll work closely with sales teams to understand client requirements, develop tailored security solutions, and present these solutions to prospective clients.

 

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that our clients receive the highest level of technical expertise and support, enabling them to centralise, process, analyse and secure diverse data sources, build AI models, and gain actionable insights to drive business value. By leveraging deep technical knowledge and industry best practices, you'll drive innovation, enhance client satisfaction, and contribute to the overall success of the organisation.

We want to hear from you if you:

  • Have experise in Azure Analytics (Fabric, Databricks, Purview) and competitors in data warehouse, data lake, big data, analytics, and reporting using integrated Data Security and Governance.
  • Can demonstrate proven experience in a similar role and organisation; owning and contributing to proposals, statements of work, RFP responses, business cases, cost models, and leading the review process.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling the presentation of complex technical solutions.
  • Have experience in a customer-facing consultancy-focused organisation, acting as a subject matter expert (SME) in relevant technology areas.
  • Have experience working with architectural principles and project delivery methodologies, including fundamentals of project management.
  • Are able to mentor other technical staff to help develop their skills and roles.
  • Are able to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams, while also being capable of working independently.
  • Have strong time management skills and ability to work at pace within a fast-moving environment.
  • Have suitable presales level accreditations in supporting technologies, such as Microsoft Certifications. (e.g. DP-600, DP-203, SC-400, AZ-305)
