What you'll be doing:

We’re looking for a proactive and ambitious  IT Support Engineer to provide hands-on onsite support for a key client based in Oxford, while also working as part of our remote Service Desk one day per week. If you love solving technical challenges, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to grow with an innovative IT company, this is the role for you.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Act as the onsite extension of our Service Desk team, providing 1st & 2nd line support
  • Deliver onsite IT support ensuring exemplary service at all times
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software issues, manage machine builds, and handle user queries
  • Maintain and monitor systems, identifying performance issues proactively
  • Resolve incidents within strict SLAs and escalate complex issues as needed
  • Manage your own ticket queue and contribute to team KPIs

We want to hear from you if you:

  • Can demonstrate experience in a similar on site IT Support Engineer role
  • Have a strong background in ITIL-based Service Desk environments
  • Have expertise with Windows (7/8/10), Office 365, Microsoft Intune, and AD/Group Policy
  • Have solid knowledge of hardware/software troubleshooting, networking, and antivirus tools
  • Experience with remote monitoring, Windows Server (2008–2016), and backup solutions
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client service skills
  • Are able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
