Management Accountant

We're looking for a Management Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team based in Glasgow. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate, timely financial information and maintaining strong financial controls that support decision-making at every level of the business.

• Owning the month-end close process, including journal postings and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Leading profit & loss and balance sheet reviews, including variance analysis against budget and forecast.

• Working closely with the Sales team on billing and ensuring accurate revenue recognition.

• Designing and maintaining robust internal controls that underpin the reliability of financial reporting.

• Overseeing bank reconciliations, AP/AR controls, and managing cash flow forecasts.

• Assisting with the annual budgeting and forecasting process.

• Coaching and supporting our Accounts Assistant as part of their development.

• Pitching in with ad hoc finance projects as part of a collaborative team environment.

• Are a qualified ACCA / CIMA / ICAS
• Have previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar role
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities
• Have some experience supervising or mentoring junior staff – or a willingness to take that step.
• Are a confident communicator with strong Excel/IT capabilities.

Salary:  £40k up to £45K depending on experience + benefits
