Financial Accountant

A new opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join our finance team at Iomart. 

As our Financial Accountant you'll be core to the Financial Accounting team in ensuring that the Group’s statutory and market regulations are met.  You'll drive and deliver financial responsibilities across the Group ensuring compliance with IFRS accounting standards and AIM regulations.

Key responsibilities of the role will also include: 

• Preparation of both Group year end and half year financial statements and subsidiary financial statements
• Acting as a key contact during the audit process
• Playing a key role in Group Tax including supporting the tax computation process
• Working with the Company Secretarial on regulatory matters as required
• Supporting technical accounting developments as and when they arise
• Management of all Companies House filing requirements for the Group
• Assisting with monthly consolidation process
• Point of contact for internal insurance queries and assisting with annual renewal process
• Working with the Financial Accounting team on ongoing Group corporate simplification process
• Working within the wider team to integrated new acquired entities into the financial reporting process

• Are a fully qualified accountant
• Have excellent technical skills and experience of preparing financial statements
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Have excellent Microsoft Excel skills
• Have a can-do and pro-active attitude
