What you'll be doing:

As our Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Manager you'll report directly to our CFO, as well as working with our CEO, and wider executive team to execute iomart’ s M&A strategy.  You’ll also lead on ad-hoc special commercial projects/business case analysis, such projects will typically involve reporting directly to the CFO or wider executive team.

 

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Working alongside the CFO to develop and execute iomart’ s M&A strategy in alignment with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Identifying and evaluating potential M&A opportunities, from initial pipeline development and filtering to conducting due diligence to assess strategic fit, financial viability, and risk.
  • Building M&A target pipeline using own research and outreach plus the advisor community
  • Contributing to the transaction execution processes, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external advisor's. This involves managing all due diligence work streams and contributing to SPA commercial negotiations.
  • Acting as a key business partner for the Group by independently leading special projects on an as required basis to support wider commercial and investment decision making.

We want to hear from you if you:

  • Are a qualified accountant – ICAS, ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
  • Are an advanced user of excel and ability to build and interpret detailed financial models.
  • Can demonstrate relevant experience within M&A/Corporate Finance.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to build rapport and establish effective working relationships.
