This role is for one of iomart group partner brands - ORIIUM.

Because ORIIUM is growing we are looking to expand our Enterprise Data Protection and Disaster Recovery Technical support team. 

Joining our team of third line consultants, you will help our customers resolve issues with both their onprem or Cloud based systems and bespoke solutions delivered from our UK Data Centres. The services you will be managing are generally based around customers Data Compliance requirements so these may range from simple Data Protection on customer sites or in our Data Centres, through to full off-site complex Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery solutions. We work with the a number of the worlds leading Enterprise grade Backup, Recovery and DR Softwares, so a passion within this field would be a great benefit!

What will you be doing:

• Fix and resolve complex support problems
• Working with BaaS, Saas and DRaaS solutions
• Solve customer issues using remote desktop software
• Interacting through phone and email with customers
• Work independently and as part of a team to find efficient resolutions to issues
• Prioritising workloads to meet customers’ expectations and needs as part of the service desk
• Working remotely on enterprise level customers
• Assisting with resolving issues with a multitude of technologies – On-Prem, Hybrid and cloud
• Working with network configurations
• Staying up to date with the latest data protection technologies and best practices

The ideal candidate would be in commutable distance from our Northern office in Leeds or our Southern Office near Burgess Hill

• Have a passion for Data Management
• Have a minimum of 2nd line experience for 2 years
• Have a good general understanding of IT – across a range of technologies – On-Prem, Hybrid, cloud, including virtualisation
• Have experience with Commvault or other backup software for this role is a definite advantage but full training will be provided
• Are a problem solver with a strong work ethic
• Are self-motivated with high levels of enthusiasm, patience and tenacity
• Have previous experience working in an MSP environment
• Are Looking to advance to the next stage of your career
